Abstract
Decentralized lending protocols rely on liquidation mechanisms to maintain protocol solvency. However, conventional first-come, first-served liquidations trigger intense Priority Gas Auctions (PGAs) among automated searchers, transferring significant economic value to block proposers and forcing borrowers to surrender excessive collateral discounts. Reforge proposes an end-to-end MEV-aware batch auction liquidation mechanism that aggregates competing bids within discrete block windows and selects winning liquidators based on Net Economic Value (Gross Liquidation Value minus Gas and Slippage Costs).
